HAYS are currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to work on healthcare interior projects for a general contractor based in Maryland who have secured a 3 year IDIQ program at a major hospital in the DMV area. The general contractor will look at an Assistant Project Manager that is on the cusp of promotion to a Project Manager. Or an existing Project Manager that is looking for a new career move.

Your new role:

You will be responsible for delivering healthcare interior construction projects in the range of $250K-$2M working at a well-known hospital in the DC area. This is an IDIQ program that will be generate a minimum of 3 years worth. As the lead Project Manager you are likely to have numerous projects running simultaneously. You will have the support of APMs reporting into you and you will interact with various external vendors including subcontractors, architects and engineers as well as being the main point of contact to the end client.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 5+ years’ experience working for a general contractor delivering interior construction projects in the values of $100k - $1M range.
  • Ideally you will have healthcare construction project experience in hospital, surgical centers or laboratories but if you do not have this sector experience, occupied interior projects will be considered.
  • Have operated in a Project Manager position where you have held the lead responsibility for delivering construction projects.
  • Degree qualified within construction management, architecture or engineering.

What you'll get in return:

  • Base salary up in the range of $120K-$140k depending on experience.
