As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Estimator to join our Service team and support our mission to deliver quality, reliability, and value across every project. This role is vital in providing accurate, timely estimates and ensuring that our service operations run efficiently and profitably.

The Opportunity

As a Commercial Roofing Service Estimator, you’ll play a key role in evaluating service projects, developing estimates, and supporting our service and operations teams. This position requires a strong technical understanding of commercial roofing systems, an analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.

You’ll collaborate closely with service managers, technicians, and clients to define project scopes, prepare estimates, and support the sales process — helping us maintain our reputation for excellence in service delivery and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct roof inspections and gather data to prepare accurate service repair estimates.
• Develop detailed cost analyses including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Review specifications, drawings, and site conditions to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with the service department and operations teams to ensure estimate accuracy.
• Utilize company estimating tools and software to prepare bids and proposals.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding project scope, pricing, and timelines.
• Track and follow up on submitted proposals to assist in closing service opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and industry standards.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes.
• Proficiency with estimating or project management software preferred.
• Ability to interpret work orders and specifications.
• Familiarity with manufacturer warranties.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to visit project sites as needed.
• Comfortability with heights.

Preferred

• Experience with The EDGE, FCS, or similar estimating software.
• Manufacturer certifications or technical training in commercial roofing systems.
• Prior experience in a service or repair-focused estimating environment.
