Job Description & RequirementsUnit Details:\n\nBeds: 5\n\nRatios: 2 patients per RN\n\nCertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC\n\nEMR: Paragon-Hospital; Allscripts TouchWorks-Clinis\n\nCharge Nurse: None\n\nNurse Aides: As needed\n\nTele/Monitor Techs: Yes\n\nVentilator: Hamilton C-1\n\nDrips: Cardizem, Insulin, Propofol, Versed, Vasopressors\n\nHospitalist/Intensivist: Hospitalist in-house\n\nIV Team: None\n\nRT Coverage: 24/7 (leaves at 6pm, on-call 10-min response)\n\nPharmacy: 24/7 (in-house until 10pm, remote after)\n\nShifts:\n\n8 or 12-hour options: 07:00–15:30, 15:00–23:30, 23:00–07:30 or 07:00–19:30 / 19:00–07:30\n\nFloating:\n\nTo Med/Surg, floor-specific orientation 1–2 shifts\n\nPatient Population / Common Diagnoses:\n\nStroke (may give TPN), STEMI, non-STEMI\n\nSchedule & Dress Code:\n\nWeekends: Every other\n\nHolidays: 7 major holidays observed\n\nScrubs: Royal Blue (RN), Steel Gray (CNA)
