ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.

\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• 36 or 48 hour guaranteed work week
\n• Medical Surgical/Remote Telemetry unit caring for adult to geriatric patients
\n• Patient diagnoses include diabetes, med/surg, post op, wound vacs, bariatrics
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 on a 33-bed unit with average daily census of 28
\n• Required to work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
\n• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
\n• No call requirements
\n• Holiday work required based on assignment period length
\n• Must wear navy blue scrubs
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Also uses Pyxis and SBAR systems
\n• 24 hours of orientation provided
\n• Skills include IV insulin protocols, colostomy care, feeding tube management, blood product administration, PICC line management, wound care/wound vac, and chest tube management
\n• Work with special equipment including Diligent lift equipment and space labs in every room
\n• Minimum 1 year experience required; first-time travelers accepted
\n• Must be compliant with facility requirements to start on time or face 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
