About Our Client

They are are a family-owned General Contractor with nearly 30 years of experience in the local KC market.. They particularly focus on commercial projects, specifically Multifamily, Industrial, general commercial work. The majority of their work is with repeat clients. They have over $100M in projects set for 2026 which will be a record year for the business. They are also breaking ground on a new office that will include a rooftop, golf center, and other amenities for the employees.

Job Description

• Oversee daily construction operations and ensure timely project completion.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align objectives and goals.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective management of resources.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations across all projects.
• Lead and mentor teams to achieve high performance and professional growth.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Analyze operational processes and implement improvements where necessary.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Ops should have:

• Proven experience in the construction industry within a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and optimize operational processes effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in construction.
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on team collaboration and success.
