This job description outlines our Performance Marketing Copywriter role, which emphasizes a blend of creativity and data-driven decision-making. Here are some key aspects of the position:

Cross-functional Collaboration: The copywriter will work closely with the Creative Director, Content Director, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment between creative vision and marketing objectives.

Data-Driven Copywriting: The role focuses heavily on crafting and optimizing copy based on performance data and strategic feedback, with the goal of maximizing conversion rates across multiple platforms.

Content Versatility: The candidate will write for both upper and lower funnel strategies, making sure the content resonates with various audience segments while driving results.

Copy Performance Analysis: Continuously track and analyze how copy performs and refine messaging based on insights, customer feedback, and industry trends.

Collaboration with Design: Ensure that copy and design are well-integrated, maintaining visual and verbal harmony across all channels.

Creative Innovation: The role requires pitching new approaches and contributing to the development of copy test plans, constantly seeking to improve copy performance through innovation.

Proofreading & Editing: There is a strong focus on proofreading to ensure accuracy, adherence to brand guidelines, and maintaining cultural relevance.

Trend Awareness: Staying current on fashion, social, cultural, and language trends is essential to ensure the copy is relevant and aligned with the brand's position in the market.

Requirements

Required Credentials:

Portfolio: A strong digital portfolio demonstrating relevant copy experience is essential.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience is required.

Digital Copy Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a creative agency or related field, specifically in digital ad copy.

Located in Milwaukee, WI, you’ll join us in making magic at our stylish HQ with an onsite cafe.

We use Google Suite, Asana and proprietary software and analytics to make our mark.

Please note: Candidates should be local to WI or located in a neighboring state, where frequent commute to our HQ is reasonable, i.e. Chicago, IL.
