About Us:
Join Alpenglow Women’s Health, an independently owned practice committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered gynecologic and reproductive care. Our team of two OB/GYNs and two Certified Nurse Midwives works collaboratively to empower women throughout every stage of life.
We prioritize shared decision-making, evidence-based practices, and a welcoming, inclusive environment where patients feel heard and providers thrive. Our services include the full spectrum of women’s healthcare—obstetrics, gynecologic/surgical care, and coordinated referrals to trusted local specialists when needed.
What You'll Do:
Work 3.5 days per week in the office.
Manage a robust surgical volume with dedicated weekly OR block time (0.5d/week).
See an average of 10-12 patients daily in the office with time for acute visits.
Provide 1:6 hospital call coverage (home call) and deliver/operate at a single community hospital.
Access to local surgery centers also available, with potential for physician buy-in.
Position Requirements:
MD or DO with current state medical license and unrestricted DEA
Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN
Proficient in all aspects of obstetrics, gynecology, and related surgeries
Tech-savvy, comfortable with secure digital communication and EMRs
Willing to reside in or near the Matanuska Valley, within a reasonable distance from the hospital
