Job Description & RequirementsPrisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum tenens coverage for general anesthesia services in a collaborative, community-based environment. This position offers a strong work-life balance with four 10-hour day shifts per week and home call once per week .
\n\nThis role is compensated at a top-of-market, all-inclusive hourly rate , covering all pay, travel, lodging, and malpractice expenses within a single rate.
\n\n\n Assignment Highlights \n\nLocation: Easley, South Carolina
\n\t\n\tSchedule:
\n\n\t4×10-hour shifts per week (7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
\n\t\t\n\t\tHome call once per week
\n\t\t\n\t\tNo weekends or in-house call
\n\t\t\n\tSetting: Acute care hospital with 6 operating rooms
\n\t\n\tCase Mix: Bread-and-butter cases (no hearts, no heads)
\n\t\n\tSupport Staff: 1 Anesthesia Tech and supervising anesthesiologist
\n\t\n\tPatient Volume: ~200 cases per week (department total)
\n\t\n\tPatient Age Range: 15–100 years
\n\t\n\tEMR: Epic
\n\t\n\tOrientation: 16 hours, non-billable
\n\t\nProvide anesthesia services for general surgical and procedural cases.
\n\t\n\tConduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and manage anesthetic plans.
\n\t\n\tMonitor and manage patients throughout surgery and recovery.
\n\t\n\tEnsure compliance with safety protocols and documentation requirements in Epic .
\n\t\n\tRespond to emergencies during home call as required.
\n\t\n\tCollaborate with physicians, surgeons, and perioperative staff to optimize outcomes.
\n\t\nNBCRNA Certified
\n\t\n\tActive South Carolina RN and APRN licenses
\n\t\n\tActive DEA and South Carolina CSR
\n\t\n\tBLS and ACLS certifications
\n\t\n\tMinimum 1 year of anesthesia experience required
\n\t\n\tProficient in Epic EMR
\n\t\n\tFully vaccinated per facility policy (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
