Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum tenens coverage for general anesthesia services in a collaborative, community-based environment. This position offers a strong work-life balance with four 10-hour day shifts per week and home call once per week .

This role is compensated at a top-of-market, all-inclusive hourly rate , covering all pay, travel, lodging, and malpractice expenses within a single rate.

    Setting: Acute care hospital with 6 operating rooms

    Case Mix: Bread-and-butter cases (no hearts, no heads)

    Support Staff: 1 Anesthesia Tech and supervising anesthesiologist

    \n\t\n\t
  • \n\t

    Patient Volume: ~200 cases per week (department total)

    \n\t\n\t
  • \n\t

    Patient Age Range: 15–100 years

  • \n\t

    EMR: Epic

    \n\t\n\t

    Orientation: 16 hours, non-billable

    Provide anesthesia services for general surgical and procedural cases.

    \n\t\n\t
  • \n\t

    Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and manage anesthetic plans.

    \n\t\n\t
  • \n\t

    Monitor and manage patients throughout surgery and recovery.

    \n\t\n\t
  • \n\t

    Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation requirements in Epic .

    \n\t\n\t
  • \n\t

    Respond to emergencies during home call as required.

    \n\t\n\t
  • \n\t

    Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and perioperative staff to optimize outcomes.

    NBCRNA Certified

    Active South Carolina RN and APRN licenses

    Active DEA and South Carolina CSR

    BLS and ACLS certifications

  • \n\t

    Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience required

    Proficient in Epic EMR

    Fully vaccinated per facility policy (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
