American Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Private Duty LPN for school-based contract positions throughout the Baltimore area for the 24/25 school year.

\n\n LPN – Private Duty Job Details: \n\n

• Pay Rate: $30-$38 per hour
\n\n
• Schedule: Monday-Friday – no call, no weekends, no holidays
\n\n
• Hours: School bell hours, approximately 35 hours per week
\n\n
• Contract: 2024/2025 school year with optional summer school
\n\n
• Located In: Baltimore, MD
\n\n
• Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST be licensed as an LPN and willing to obtain MD state licensure.

\n\nAs a Private Duty LPN in schools, you’ll deliver consistent, high-quality nursing care to a child in a school setting. These patients typically require dedicated nursing care and management due to chronic or terminal conditions—and you’ll ensure they can learn and engage in a class setting while having their health needs met. Responsibilities include: \n\nMonitoring the student’s vitals and symptoms—administering medication and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols \n\nProviding skilled nursing care to the student in the classroom, including medication management and helping with feeding/hygiene \n\nMonitoring progress and response to treatment, collaborating with the care team on medical needs and changes, and supporting the student as needed to achieve desired outcomes \n\nProviding emotional support to students and families coping with medical concerns \n\n \n\nThose who choose to practice as a Private Duty LPN typically enjoy the freedom to work independently, as well as the bonds they make with the child, their family, and their teachers.
