Job Description: We are seeking a driven Golang Intern to join our team and help develop Two Robots Unleashed (TRU), a strategic card-based game with Web3 integration. You will actively code new cards into our backend system, enhance gameplay features, and potentially contribute to building an AI version of the game, including designing AI strategies for our five color-themed factions. This internship offers the opportunity to convert to a full-time position for candidates who demonstrate sharp coding talent and exceptional dedication. Required Skills and Experience: Proficiency in Golang, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code Sharp problem-solving skills to implement new cards and backend features (e.g., integrating card mechanics into the game) Passionate about card games (e.g., Hearthstone, Magic: The Gathering) with an understanding of game mechanics and strategy Ability to work with backend systems, APIs, and databases to support gameplay functionality No formal education or professional experience required Bonus Skills: Interest in designing AI strategies for game factions (e.g., how AI players choose strategies for White, Red, Blue, Green, or Yellow themes) Experience with game development or backend frameworks (e.g., Nakama, gRPC) Familiarity with Web3 concepts (e.g., blockchain integration, Polygon) Portfolio or examples of Golang projects, especially related to games or AI Compensation and Benefits: Stipend commensurate with internship standards, with potential for a competitive full-time salary upon conversion Flexible work schedule and remote work options Opportunities for growth, including transitioning to a full-time role and contributing to AI and game design If you are a sharp, passionate Golang developer who loves card games and wants to code the future of TRU, we’d love to hear from you.
