Cerity Partners is searching for talented, bright, and motivated individuals with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Louisville Corporate Accounting team for the summer of 2025.
This is a paid internship program (30-40 hours/week) and a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a professional environment. This role is ideal for someone looking for authentic exposure to the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.
Primary Responsibilities: - Assist account leads with various aspects of the accounting process, including batch accounting in the AR and AP process; processing and posting transactions and related journal entries; and financial statement preparation and analysis
- Gain first-hand experience with the accounting process in multiple industries
- Shadow and participate in various types of client presentations
- Participate in a group project, employee social and volunteer events
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Profile - "Our Casting Call!"- Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
- Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably within a leadership role, and/or professional work experience
