Construction Superintendent

Because of our growth, we are seeking a Superintendent with strong ground-up construction experience to lead projects in the commercial, education and healthcare sectors. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every stage. What You Will Be Doing

Oversee all field operations for ground-up construction projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Manage day-to-day onsite activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays or challenges.
• Enforce high construction standards, conduct regular inspections, and ensure all work meets Muter Construction's quality expectations.
• Implement and enforce company and OSHA safety policies, conducting daily jobsite safety meetings and ensuring a culture of safety on-site.
• Serve as the primary onsite representative, fostering strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners.

• Proactively identify and resolve project issues to maintain efficiency and minimize delays.

   

Qualifications 

5+ recent years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction, with a strong emphasis on ground-up projects.

• Experience managing ground up projects in the commercial, education (K-12 & higher ed) and healthcare (hospitals, clinics, medical offices) sectors.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting, and healthcare-specific construction requirements (e.g., infection control, ICRA compliance).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proven track record of managing subcontractors and project teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
