Additional duties for travel agents include researching destinations and travel options, understanding client specifications and budgets to suggest suitable travel packages, organizing travel from start to finish, utilizing promotional techniques to sell tour packages, and staying updated on tourism trends through training.
Requirements for this position include being 18 years or older, having access to a computer, smartphone, or tablet, being comfortable working with minimal supervision, having a customer-oriented mindset, being energetic, having a positive attitude, being adept or enthusiastic about using social media, and being a problem solver and a great listener.
