Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Weld Engineer to join a global leader in automotive manufacturing. This role involves developing and improving welding techniques, leading research initiatives, and ensuring high-quality standards in the production of structural automotive components. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance welding processes and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement welding techniques, procedures, and equipment improvements.
• Lead research and development projects for new welding technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance teams.
• Ensure compliance with national welding standards and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot welding-related issues and support production teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5+ years of welding engineering experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency with robotic programming (Miller equipment experience is preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Welding, Materials Science, or related engineering field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and safety regulations.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
