We are in search of a part-time virtual administrative assistant available to work around 20 hours weekly. The ideal candidate must be technologically adept and capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities. Understanding business/government contracting is not mandatory but advantageous. The role involves managing emails, calendars, drafting and reviewing documents, comprehending technical terminology, data mining, document creation, and data importation into databases. The candidate must possess excellent time management and organizational skills, be comfortable working with various databases and datasets, and have intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, & Excel). We prefer a proactive, Type-A individual who collaborates effectively with others and maintains professionalism.

Responsibilities include:

- Drafting and reviewing technical documents

- Data mining to build a sales pipeline

- Assisting in report/proposal preparation

- Developing and maintaining a cloud-based filing system

- Updating and maintaining office policies and procedures

- Ordering office supplies and researching new deals and suppliers

- Making phone calls

- Organizing and scheduling appointments

- Planning meetings and taking detailed minutes

- Writing and distributing emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms

- Serving as the point of contact for internal and external clients

Skills required:

- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant

- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

- Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers and laptops

- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

- High School diploma; additional qualifications as an Administrative assistant or Secretary is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
