Their Venture Capital team specializes in identifying and nurturing high-potential startups in the tech and food & beverage sectors. They are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join their team and contribute to our success.

Position Overview: As a Venture Capital Associate, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting investment opportunities within the tech or food & beverage sectors. Leveraging your investment banking background, you will analyze market trends, conduct due diligence, and collaborate with portfolio companies to drive value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the tech or food & beverage sectors.

  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive landscape assessment.

  • Investment Analysis: Develop financial models, perform valuation analyses, and prepare investment memos for the investment committee.

  • Portfolio Management: Support portfolio companies in strategic initiatives, including business development, operational improvements, and fundraising efforts.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics in the tech and food & beverage sectors.

  • Networking: Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with exposure to tech or food & beverage sectors.

  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

  • Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and emerging technologies.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
