**Position Overview:**

We are looking for a UX/UI designer to create thoughtful digital and cross channel experiences for our customers. You will be helping to improve our customers experiences by designing intuitive experiences informed by research and data, as well as, assisting in creating and maintaining a design system that reflects our brand across multiple touchpoints. To excel in this role, you should be a collaborative, curious, empathetic, creative thinker whose passion is improving lives through design.

This position reports to the CX Design Manager, Visual and Interaction Design.

**Responsibilities:**

* Work closely with the Senior Manager of Visual and Interaction Design to help lead the UX/UI process from concept to launch.

* Focus on transactional UX (i.e., financial portals, data tables, etc.).

* Assist in establishing and maintaining an omni-channel Design System standardizing: visual identity elements, design principles, best practices, pattern library, etc.

* Create thoughtful sketches, comprehensive wireframes, and uphold the consistency of the Design System through high-fidelity prototypes.

* Support the Design Thinking approach, generating designs of various fidelity to communicate ideas, test with users, iterate, and prepare for final delivery.

* Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes researchers, strategists, fellow designers, business analysts, project managers, marketers, and developers to deliver a polished final product.

* Assist other members of the CX team, whether it's facilitating a user interview, assisting in a workshop, and/or preparing a deck for a meeting.

**Required Competencies:**

* Proficient knowledge in design and prototyping tools, such as Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision.

* Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g., storytelling, storyboards, mood boards, prototypes, etc.).

* Experience in delivering end-to-end solutions, balancing business goals and user needs.

* Knowledge of web-based technologies and mobile operating systems. Must be able to articulate technical considerations in your designs when working with developers.

* Experience with both Agile and Waterfall approaches.

* Excellent communicator with superior verbal, written, interpersonal, technical, and presentation skills.

* Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Bachelors degree in Human Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* 4+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience of User Interface, Interaction, and Visual Design with consumer products, services, and experiences.

* A portfolio that provides details of your project roles and showcases your design process along with the finished product. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Financial services experience a plus.
