** Temporary position to cover employee on leave through the first week of August**

Role & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and process all accounts and maintain records for same

• Record recurring automated payments

• Supporting local and federal company tax compliance, organizing, identifying and alert tax compliance items.

• Assist in month end closing, which includes the preparation and entering journal entries.

• Maintain Fixed Assets, Deferred Rent, and Accrual schedules; as well as amortizing expenses and recording depreciation.

• Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.

• Support, review, and train team members to review and complete AR bad debt calculation.

• Support yearly audit by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.

• Perform ad-hoc research and drive timely resolution of accounting issues.

• Complies with state and federal tax filing requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings.

• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.

• 4-6+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment

• Strong work-ethic and communication skills

• Excellent follow through and time management skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and meets deadlines.

• Good business acumen and strong interpersonal skills

• Must have organizational skills; able to identify, plan and implement process improvements.
