Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a CO or compact RN license and trauma experience for a Level 1 Trauma Center.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in the Operating Room of a Level 1 Trauma Center with 41 OR suites
• Handles cases including General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgery
• Day shifts with three 12-hour shifts per week, including every Saturday and two variable weekdays
• Occasional float to shifts starting at 8:45 or 10:45 as needed
• Weekend coverage required every Saturday with occasional Sunday float
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to other Operating Rooms as needed
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must not have been employed by the UCHealth system or its affiliates in any capacity within the last two years
• A maximum of 10 days RTO is allowed per contract; no RTO is permitted during specified blackout dates
• No blocked scheduling requests are permitted
• Required training modules must be completed pre-start during the first day of orientation
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be communicated prior to start
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility for travel pay eligibility

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers required
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
