Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OB Sonographer for an acute care assignment requiring ARDMS, BLS, and NT-FMF certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an acute care setting on the OB Sonographer unit specializing in ultrasound
• Focus on maternal-fetal medicine and high-risk obstetric patient population
• Day shifts start at 7:00am with Monday-Friday scheduling; options for 5x8 hour or 4x10 hour shifts
• Unit uses Epic for charting; Epic experience preferred
• Expect proficiency with umbilical artery dopplers, middle cerebral artery dopplers, multiple gestations, and nuchal translucency studies
• Charcoal grey scrubs are required for all shifts
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Individuals with prior permanent or travel roles at this system must have a minimum 2-year break before returning
• Former travelers who have worked for a year at this health system must take a 2-year break before reapplying
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Assignment lengths are 8 weeks with potential for extension if offered

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an OB/GYN sonographer
• Active ARDMS certification in OB/GYN required
• Current BLS certification required
• Nuchal translucency (NT-FMF) certification required
• Maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) experience required
• Proficiency with amniocentesis and CVS procedures preferred but not required
• License required if applicable
