Driver Duties:

We are looking for Drivers to join our team to transport individuals from extracurricular events following a scheduled route while ensuring passenger safety. We are seeking to hire drivers for first shift.

A&A Services and Transportation Drivers responsibilities include ensuring that their vehicles are in good shape and observing safety and traffic rules while on the road with passengers traveling town. Ultimately, you will ensure proper vehicle maintenance and observe traffic rules and maintain order with passengers on the bus or van.

Responsibilities:

• Transport passengers to and from alternate destinations
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers, other team members and customers
• Obey all traffic laws to ensure passengers arrive to their destination safely
• Maintain a clean and mechanically sound vehicle at all times
• Ensure the safety of all passengers when entering and leaving the bus or van
• Assist passengers with getting on and off the bus or van as needed
• Engage with passengers as they enter and leave the bus or van

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven work experience as a School Bus Driver, Transporter, or similar role
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years
• Positive background check and negative drug screen
• Two or more years of experience working with children or senior older adults preferred
• Ability to carry out assigned route on time
• Commercial Drivers License optional for van drivers, mandatory for bus drivers

Hours of Service:

Available 10-15 hours a week, optional weekends

Part-time available, with potential to become full-time with successful driving record.

Salary in alignment with job experience, starting at $17/ day with increase with permeant position
