DescriptionHome Pride Construction is seeking an accomplished Tile Setter to join our team in Pacifica, CA. As a Tile Setter, you will be accountable for cutting, placing, and grouting tile to form attractive surfaces in a variety of settings. You will take pride in being part of a fast-paced, and quality-focused team that strives to go beyond customer expectations and create lasting relationships. You will be expected to exhibit proficiency in how to safely and securely install an array of materials, and finish tasks on time, without errors. If you are enthusiastic about designing appealing tile surfaces and being part of a committed team, this is your chance!Responsibilities•Measure, cut, and shape tiles to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces•Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and waterproofing prior to installation•Install tiles on surfaces according to patterns and design plans•Grout and seal tiles to ensure water-tightness•Maintain and use tools and equipment safely and efficientlyQualifications•Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential tile installation•Highly skilled in all aspects of tile installation including measuring, cutting, and shaping of tile and stone•Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget•Knowledge of US building codes and construction safety practices•US Work Authorization
