The role you’ll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

The Surgical Technologist I is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse according to the accepted clinical standards of care

\n \n\n \n

• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedure
\n \n
• Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedure’ displays knowledge of procedure and patient positioning
\n \n
• Helps in draping sterile field
\n \n
• Passes instruments, etc., to surgeon during procedure
\n \n
• Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants
\n \n\n \n\n

Qualifications

\n \n

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• High School Graduate/ GED
\n \n
• Successful Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program
\n \n
• American Heart BLS
\n \n\n \n\n

\n
