RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly responsible for:
- Scheduling all field operations for technicians for service, installation, and inspections jobs.
- Scheduling and coordinating the post-installation inspection for each commercial job.
- Following up on any required changes with Project Manager.
- Supplier relationship management and procurement functions, including:
- Selecting best in class distributors and contractors.
- Price negotiations and OEM rebates/discounts.
- Forecasting material requirements with suppliers.
- Creating process documentation and ensuring adherence to all core processes.
- Developing stocking and logistics strategy.
- Scheduling and billing for all service and maintenance jobs.
- Provide quotes for service and maintenance, as needed.
- Developing departmental KPIs and metrics.
- Scheduling all returns to vendors, including warranty items.
- Managing the Warehouse Coordinator and the Commercial Project Coordinator.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Responsible for overseeing:
- Comprehensive review of Bill of Materials, including project budget, with Project Manager and Operations Manager, for each commercial project.
- Collection of quotes for all supplies needed for each commercial project, including PV, racking, switchgear, and breaker.
- Review of quotes, verification of quote accuracy with Chief Design Officer, and adding finalized quotes to Bill of Materials.
- Preparation for commercial project mobilization, including ensuring BoM is updated and correct, requesting updated quotes for any products that have changed, confirming orders and deliveries, preparing pallets of in-stock materials for pickup by installers, scheduling delivery of mobile equipment needed on job sites and installation crews using dispatch software
- Preparation and submittal of Net Energy Billing paperwork to utility for each commercial job.
- Support of Commercial Project Manager with Permission to Operate process.
- Warehouse operations, including:
- Intaking materials and ensuring they are inventoried and organized upon arrival.
- Ensuring warehouse remains clean, organized, and inventory is up to date at all times.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree preferred; High School Degree or equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction scheduling, supply chain management, and vendor relationship management is a must
- 2+ years of management experience is highly preferred
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to adapt to new software quickly, proficiency in in Microsoft 365, including Teams, is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- High degree of attention to detail, ability to prioritize effectively, and excellent organization skills are a must.
- Self-starter, motivated, and proactive.
Location: Riverside, CA
Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday (some flexibility with approval from manager)
