Job Summary: The
Staging Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the preparation of orders for delivery, ensuring that all required paperwork and documentation is in order, and verifying that all orders are accurate before they are loaded onto delivery vehicles. The Staging Coordinator will work closely with the distribution team to ensure that all orders are staged and loaded in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Duties/Responsibilities: - Organizes and coordinates the preparation of orders for delivery
- Compiles required driver paperwork, including driver load sheets, invoices and Metrc manifests
- Routinely verifies orders against invoice and Metrc manifest
- Loads vans with orders and ensures that all orders are properly secured
- Maintains accurate records of all orders staged and loaded for delivery
- Works closely with delivery drivers to ensure that all orders are loaded on time and in the correct sequence
- Reviews Daily Delivery Log daily and verifies all orders are staged and ready for on time
- Accurately separates orders by service zone and delivery day utilizing wheeled and fixed racks to effectively manage next day and two-day plus deliveries
- Tracks and verifies order rejections /returns and coordinate with necessary departments to process
- Communicates with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that all orders are processed and delivered in a timely manner
- Troubleshoots and resolves any issues that arise during the order staging and loading process
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace and adheres to all safety protocols and procedures
- Abides by all Company polices
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Required Skills/Abilities: - Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Comfortable working with cannabis products and adhering to all applicable regulations
- Knowledge of Metrc manifest - preferred
Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in order staging, logistics, or a related field
Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and humidity levels.
Schedule: 5:00am - 1:30pm M-F
