Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sr. Manager of Fashion Merchandising lead fashion direction and trend forecasting at ZELIG. This individual will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fashion merchandising, publishing, styling, ecommerce, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional taste level and be able to qualify the principles of fashion styling for use across our proprietary technology. You will work closely with our clients, as well as our product management and operations teams to support our proprietary fashion styling, recommendations, and revolutionary customer experience technology. You will also work directly with our sales team and executive leadership.



Key Responsibilities:

• This person is a critical onsite presence at our headquarters in West Hollywood, CA and is a key partner to many cross functional groups in getting items through our item ingestion pipelines in support of our clients.
• Guide styling direction for attribution that powers recommendations and outfit curation 
• Understanding trends, proportions, accessories, styling, and how different segments dress is key to success of this role
• Monitor industry trends and customer behavior, using data to inform merchandising and fashion strategies and drive user engagement
• Serve as our internal fashion authority, continuously creating and curating fashion trends that appeal to customer segments and tied to specific brand attributes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience and training
• The ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience in the fashion industry and a proven track record of success in curating fashion collections
• You must also have a deep understanding of the latest trends in fashion and a passion for bringing unique and exciting fashion ideas to life
• Excellent verbal and visual communication skills particularly related to creative work
