POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. This intern will support our IGEN division in a collaborative, challenging, and rewarding position where you will be guiding and supporting industry with the next generation excise tax software solution. The Software Engineer Intern will develop and modify existing web-based applications.


U.S. Venture's Internship Program runs May - August. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located in Appleton, WI and will start at 1025 West Navitus Dr, Appleton, WI 54913. We are excited to be transitioning to our new corporate headquarters during this internship timeframe and this position will eventually be located at 222 W College Avenue, Appleton, WI 54911.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Applications vary from C# Service Jobs to Web Applications to InterfacesWindows Applications, Web Service Applications, and Forms Development with internal tool
• Working with SQL Databases on a regular basis
• Develop and modify web based applications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Application Development or Web Development
• Junior or Senior status preferred.
• Prefer Microsoft .Net, Java, JavaScript, CSS
• SQL or similar database experience
