InLine: Skilled Laborer Position

Position Summary: InLine is seeking Skilled Laborers proficient with various hand tools such as shovels, post hole diggers, and pickaxes, and experienced in operating a range of heavy equipment including Skid Steers, Mini Excavators, Bulldozers, Backhoes, Excavators, or Directional Drills. This role is crucial for our dynamic field operations team, engaging in essential installations and maintenance tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install HDPE Duct, Conduit, Pull Boxes, Copper and Fiber Optic Cable.
• Load and secure materials or equipment for transport from the shop to the jobsite.
• Ensure jobsite, equipment, and materials are secure at the end of each shift to guarantee public safety.
• Set up and manage Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) according to location, road conditions, and DOT specifications.
• Serve as a first responder during storms and for emergency restoration activities.

Work Experience and Requirements:

• Experienced in communication and electrical construction including UG conduit, copper & fiber optic cables, concrete, understanding rights-of-way, and interpreting as-built documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with crew members.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Knowledge of telecom and underground utilities is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating a variety of heavy equipment such as Skid Steers, Mini Excavators, Bulldozers, Backhoes, Excavators, or Directional Drills.
• Valid Driver's License required; Class A CDL preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Travel required.
• Ability to work in various outdoor conditions including extreme heat, cold, and rain.

Schedule:

• 8-10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
