Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper to join our warehouse team. This role is key to ensuring customer orders are inspected, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, takes pride in efficiency, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming and outgoing components/products for damage or contamination.
Pick, pack, and ship customer orders in line with instructions and deadlines.
Accurately record waybill numbers, shipping details, and costs.
Schedule and coordinate pickups with couriers and carriers; negotiate rates and delivery times when needed.
Complete and maintain shipping documentation (packing slips, manifests, waybills, B13/export forms, invoices).
Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
Build skids or crates for large shipments as required.
Assist with general warehouse duties: stocking shelves, inventory counts, garbage removal, cleaning, etc.
Support receiving by assisting with large shipments and labeling incoming goods.
Serve customers arriving for pick-ups at the warehouse.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shipping/warehouse area.
Qualifications
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or related role.
Able to operate a forklift, pump truck, and strapping equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Physically able to handle medium to heavy materials as needed.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
