Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Shipper.

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

SUMMARY

Perform all duties required to maintain basic shipping operations, including but not limited to: loading and unloading trucks with a forklift, deliver material to the production floor, and make accurate SAP transactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Load and unload flatbed trucks, vans, containers, and various materials in a safe manner

2. Communicate directly with carriers, internal customers, and external customers

3. Take photos and maintaining archive of truckload shipments

4. Perform all types of material handling, lifting, and packaging while following the shipping schedule and processing shipments

5. Process and match shipping paperwork, special requirements, and materials with SAP to ensure accuracy

6. Manage daily expedite requests from marketing, purchasing and manufacturing

7. Maintain safe and clean work area in accordance with factory standards

8. Process paperwork daily for records to be scanned in SAP delivery. Hard copies of paperwork are to be maintained in the department files

9. Consistent lifting (no more than 50LBS at a time without a lift assist)

10. Perform required cycle counts, inventory processes and E&O processes

Qualifications:

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Work Safely to prevent on-the-job injuries. Report on-the-job injuries and unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor. Provide prompt and efficient service with emphasis on quality of work. Work from list of catalog numbers and various reports. Use material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead hoist, and an assortment of air and common hand tools.

PREFERRED

• SAP Knowledge

• Microsoft Suite Knowledge

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED

• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• One year of forklift operation experience in a shipping/receiving environment

• SAP experience

ABILITY

• Pass yearly forklift certification

• Parcel shipment processing

• Basic computer / printer / scanner skills

• Communication skills

• Basic Arithmetic and Measurement knowledge

Brief Description of Job Duties and Additional Comments:

Set up and operate press brake and or laser bending cell to burn, bend, form or straighten ferrous and non-ferrous material. Use other machines as required. Or Set-up and operate all machine tools and perform all programming and operations on CNC machines and turning centers to fabricate parts within specified tolerances. (Machine worker). Receive and interpret work assignment from supervisor or production control system.
