Position Summary: As the SEO manager, you will be the lead in-house expert on search engine optimization, developing and implementing strategies to improve organic search visibility and traffic. A strong understanding of current SEO best practices is crucial for this role. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure our online content and advertising are optimized. Job Duties & Essential Functions: Develop long- and short-term SEO strategies Research and report relevant search engine keywords and trends Develop off-page optimization initiatives, such as link-building Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to produce engaging, relevant content Coordinate social media and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns with search engine marketing (SEM) strategists Track key performance indicators (KPIs), report rankings, and recommend tactics to optimize further Conduct audits and research to pinpoint growth opportunities Develop and propose data-driven recommendations for SEO tests and changes, complete with thorough analysis and rationale Continuously monitor and analyze health and performance metrics, and respond promptly to any emergent issues Provide ongoing knowledge sharing within the company to elevate the SEO acumen of the organization Stay on top of SEO best practices and marketing trends Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in mass communications, digital marketing, advertising, business, or a similar field 4+ years of experience in SEO Expert knowledge of SEO & SEM Strong experience with HTML/CSS Expertise in current SEO best practices Knowledge in using content management systems (CMS) to optimize websites Working knowledge of SEO copywriting and UI design skills Solid background in strategy for traditional and digital media channels Strong leadership and organizational skills Analytical, results-driven mindset Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams Knowledge of website analytics measurement methodology and measurement platforms, including Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools Preferred Qualifications: Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000/annually to commensurate with experience Location: This position is fully remote but requires residency in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Pennsylvania.
