Position Overview

The Senior Curriculum Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually engaging and effective educational materials that enhance learning experiences. This role collaborates with curriculum developers and instructional designers to translate complex subjects of our industry into compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for both print and digital platforms for use in delivering training within the classroom, lab, and field.

*WILL WORK OUT OF OUR ROCKRIDGE OFFICE LOCATION (EAGLE/ OVERLAND ROAD AREA)
*UP TO 10% TRAVEL REQUIRED WITH THIS ROLE

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with curriculum developers, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to create visually appealing and effective educational materials.
  • Develop infographics, illustrations, and layouts for print and digital formats.
  • Lead design projects from concept to completion while managing timelines and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies for continuous enhancement of the visual aspects of the curriculum.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to members of the team that contributes to a collaborative and creative team environment.
  • Advise leadership on design strategies, to include industry innovations and best practices.
  • Drive alignment to content through skillful interview and facilitation techniques to gather design requirements from customers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
  • Reinforce company training models and best practices through design.
  • Maintain an active, organized library of design assets and resources.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or related field.
  • 4 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Or an additional 8 years’ relevant work experience in lieu of degree.

Technical Requirements/ Core Competencies

  • Ability to create original illustrations and graphics that enhance educational content.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition for effective print and digital layouts.
  • Skill in designing infographics to convey complex information clearly and engagingly.
  • Experience with tools for managing design projects and timelines.
  • Knowledge and accessibility guidelines to ensure materials are inclusive for all learners.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, LMS, and Monday.com.

Salary

$57,640 - $64,845 annual salary, DOE
