As a Security Professional - Unarmed Access Control - Multiple Shifts in Comfort, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding site protocols. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and procedures.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including those related to chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
