As an Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with staff, visitors, and the public, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and general information as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
