If you are looking to make a difference, we'd love to talk to you! This Security Guard oversees and maintains the overall safety and security of residents, team members, visitors and buildings in the community. We are seeking a very special candidate for this important role!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Makes repeated security and safety rounds inside and outside of community buildings
- Follows security schedules and job routines
- Clearly & concisely communicates in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner with all residents, visitors, & team members
- Quickly, accurately, and appropriately interprets and responds to resident's urgent care needs and dispatch appropriate response(s) to calls for assistance
- Uses personal computers and programs tied to the campus emergency response system
- Works in conjunction with SARA system
- Uses equipment daily including vehicles, radios, computers, carts, phones, computers
- Complies with infection control regulations, guidelines, and policies
- Assists in in-servicing relating to security such as fire drills, emergency evacuation
- Maintains appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion
Minimum Qualifications: - COVID-19 vaccination or medical/religious exemption required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service setting as security or related field is preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions and convers in English
- Valid driver's license with a clean background
- Must be able to relate to the needs and concerns of senior adults
