Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense. We are seeking a Scrummaster to support our customers operations in Dahlgren, Virginia. This effort provides our Government customer with software support services. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Creating project outlines and timelines and distribute responsibilities to team members
• Facilitating daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve any issues the team may be experiencing
• Performing reviews on Scrum teams
• Removing project obstacles and develop solutions with the team
• Documenting progress and communicating to management and stakeholders
• Generating software metrics including but not limited to productivity, defect density and closure, defect priority and age to track progress

Essential Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• Active Secret Clearance

Required Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years of software development in an Agile environment
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Scrum Master

Education and Certifications:

• A Bachelors degree from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, or Software Engineering

OR

• A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand, and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to workstation. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and the public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
