Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Behavior Specialist to support students across multiple school sites in Middletown, DE. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) entails working onsite and serving students ranging from PreK through 12th grade, including young adults aged 18-21.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide behavior support services in an itinerant capacity, traveling between assigned school locations
• Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and progress data
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support planning

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a Behavior Specialist or related credential
• Proven experience working with a diverse student population, including PreK-12 and transition-age youth
• Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a school environment
• Flexibility to travel between school sites as required

Location:

• Middletown, Delaware (work performed onsite at various school locations)
