Roofing Estimator Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Roofing Estimator to join our team. This role is essential in assessing project specifications and developing accurate cost estimates for commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various roofing systems, including TPO, and will be responsible for ensuring that all estimates meet our quality standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities - Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing projects, including materials and labor.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to clarify project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of roofing materials and industry trends.
- Analyze bid documents and prepare proposals for clients.
- Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a roofing estimator in the commercial roofing industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, particularly TPO.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
