Job Title: Remote Special Education Teacher
Location: Remote (Mustbe certified in New Hampshire)
Job Type: Part-Time 1099 Independent Contractor
We are seeking a dedicated and certified Remote Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality, individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in New Hampshire. This position is fully remote and involves working closely with students, families, general education teachers, and related service providers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that support student growth and success.
Deliver virtual instruction to students with IEPs in accordance with New Hampshire Department of Education standards.
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to meet each student's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Conduct assessments and progress monitoring using digital tools and platforms.
Provide accommodations and modifications to support diverse learners in a virtual environment.
Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families to ensure inclusion and student success.
Attend and lead virtual IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and team planning sessions.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Utilize various technologies and online platforms to engage students and track progress.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive virtual learning environment.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field (required).
Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teaching Certification (required).
Prior experience teaching in special educationin a remote or hybrid setting.
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant special education laws and best practices.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Proficiency with virtual learning tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas, etc.).
Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and team members remotely.
Experience with remote learning platforms and virtual IEP compliance tools.
Familiarity with New Hampshire's education standards and procedures.
Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
