Are you a *Skilled Veterinary Technician* with a passion for animal care and a positive, team-oriented attitude? VCA Durant Road Animal Hospital is looking for an *experienced* Veterinary Technician or Assistant (minimum 2 years of veterinary experience required) to join our energetic team!

*Schedule & Pay*
* *Hours*: Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM–2:00 PM
* *Closed Sundays* (on-call rotation for boarding pets requiring care)
* Typical schedule: *4- 5 days/week* with rotating Saturdays
* *Starting pay*: $16.00/hour (based on experience)

*What You’ll Do*
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll utilize your experience and knowledge to support our medical team with a wide range of responsibilities, including:
* Phlebotomy and catheter placement
* Diagnostic imaging and radiology
* Anesthesia monitoring and surgical prep/assisting
* Dentistry and laboratory work
* Medication preparation and fulfillment
* Patient recovery and assessments
* Accurate medical recordkeeping
* Providing compassionate, low-stress care to patients
* Effective communication with clients and team members
