You will work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patients are transferred appropriately and timely. There is no bedside or direct patient contact for this position. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you. Time management is important and we bring in about 30 patients per day. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing. Current valid North Carolina nursing license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required. Four years of acute nursing experience required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
