National company with headquarters in Ft Lauderdale FL is seeking an Associate Real Estate & Construction Specialist to join our growing team! You will assist with all Commercial Construction and Development operations. This is an opportunity to work for a fast growing National Scale Commercial Builder/Developer. Entry and junior level associates are invited to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform roles related to the construction of commercial real estate projects and retail stores and restaurant projects.
- Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
- Consistent voice to voice and outgoing contacts being made for new subcontractors and clients and opportunities for the company.
- Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators to the Visible management team.
- Support the estimating and bidding of projects.
- Coordinate and assist in the coordination of construction processed and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree and an interest in real estate, construction, economics, finance or project management is ideal.
- Previous experience in construction, real estate, property management, or other related fields is a plus.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and vendors.
- Strong negotiation skills and critical thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Career oriented work ethic required.
