Matthews Real Estate Investment Services is the fastest-growing commercial real estate company in the country. We are seeking an Associate to work within our Capital Markets division who will specialize in debt origination for all commercial real estate asset types. This position is currently available, but only for highly motivated, determined, and fearless individuals with an entrepreneurs mindset. The objective of the Associate is to outwork the competition and leverage Matthews best-in-class platform to win business from and build longterm relationships with investment property owners and capital providers/lenders. Associates thrive in a fastpaced, highenergy, collaborative environment.

Duties / Essential Functions

• Complete Matthews intensive, indepth training program
• Become an expert in commercial real estate analysis / underwriting
• Relentlessly and proactively reach out to owners of commercial real estate
• Be confident and comfortable with 100+ cold calls daily to investment property owners
• Maintain detailed records of activity on Matthews proprietary CRM system
• Utilize the companys industryleading tools, resources and technology to win business and build relationships with investment property owners and the providers of capital for debt
• Provide clients with valuable financial analysis and underwriting of investment real estate
• Work closely with Sales Leaders and Mentors to curate an effective business plan
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Management

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business or related industry or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience in sales preferred but not required
• Competitive nature
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of effective prospecting and proven ability to penetrate new accounts
• Organizational competency to maintain regular contact with a large database of clients and prospects
• Strong grasp of mathematics / Ability to complete financial analysis and underwriting of investment real estate
• Skills to understand complex financial modeling and interpret to potential clients
• Professional work ethic and integrity
• Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Industrious personality
• Be coachable
• Insatiable appetite for success

Salary Range: $36,000-$40,000 plus commission potential
