The client is a U.S.-based non-emergency medical transportation management company founded in 2016. Their mission is to modernize the coordination of transportation services in critical sectors like education and healthcare.

Project Description

The current initiative focuses on building a school transportation management system that enables real-time school bus tracking, route optimization, and seamless communication between parents, drivers, and school staff. The platform is designed with safety, reliability, and efficiency in mind, helping ensure the safe and timely transport of children.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native;
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend infrastructure;
• Build responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly mobile interfaces for iOS and Android platforms;
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices;
• Collaborate with product managers and backend developers to ensure smooth integration and delivery of features.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with React Native;
• Proficiency with mobile development tools such as Expo, Xcode, and Android Studio;
• Solid understanding of React Native performance optimization techniques;
• Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and native module integration;
• Familiarity with the full mobile release lifecycle including App Store and Google Play;
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control systems;
• English level: B2 or higher.

Nice To Have

• Experience with React for web (especially Next.js);
  
• Familiarity with Firebase or AWS Amplify for mobile development;
  
• Experience with mobile CI/CD tools such as EAS or Fastlane.
