Radiation Oncology - Physician at Adventist Health Portland - Adventist Health summary:

The Radiation Oncologist at Adventist Health Portland provides specialized, high-quality radiation therapy for cancer patients using techniques such as radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiation therapy, and comprehensive treatment for various malignancies including brain, head and neck, and gynecologic cancers. The role requires board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology and involves working within a collaborative, mission-driven team focused on compassionate, patient-centered care. Adventist Health Portland is actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist (MD/DO) to join our growing oncology practice located in beautiful Portland, Oregon. This opportunity is based at Adventist Health Portland, where you’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive care team.

The ideal candidate will bring clinical strengths and interest in one or more of the following areas:

  1. Radiosurgery Expertise in delivering precise, high-dose radiation treatments.
  2. Brain Metastases Management Experience with advanced treatment planning and multidisciplinary care.
  3. Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) Especially for indications beyond lung cancer.
  4. Head and Neck Oncology Comprehensive care for complex head and neck malignancies.
  5. Benign Conditions Including the use of radiation therapy for non-malignant diseases such as osteoarthritis.
  6. Gynecologic Cancers Proficiency in treating a range of gynecologic malignancies with modern techniques.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Oregon

  • Must meet Adventist Health Portland’s medical staff credentialing standards
