Job Title: Python Developer

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Visa: EAD, GC, USC, F1

Employment Type: W2 Contract (Minimum 12+ months validity required)

Rate: $60 per hour (W2)

Must-Have Skills:

• Python (expert level)
• FastAPI
• Threading and Asynchronous Programming
• Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• ETL processes for large data sets with performance optimization
• Pub/Sub or Message Bus Design and Implementation (Kafka or AMPS preferred)

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Implement and optimize ETL processes for handling large-scale data efficiently.
• Work with messaging systems such as Kafka or AMPS for real-time data streaming.
• Collaborate with large, distributed teams developing within shared, multi-repo codebases (using VS Code).
• Apply advanced threading and asynchronous programming concepts to improve system performance.
• Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
• Communicate effectively across teams and contribute to a collaborative development environment.
