We serve as a trusted advisor and partner to leading business executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders across media, entertainment, technology, sports, finance, education, public affairs, philanthropy, and other impactful industries.

We are looking for a highly motivated Public Relations Senior Associate in our New York office who will enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main day-to-day support and begin growing client relationships
• Analyze and create meaningful insights from media coverage
• Write, edit, and review first drafts of press releases, fact sheets, Q&As, pitch letters, bios, activity reports, internal and external memos, media results reports or summaries and client recommendations
• Review and finalize media lists
• Establish and manage relationships with reporters at the national, regional, and local level
• Independently develop media pitches and secure relevant opportunities and results
• Moderate media interviews and support media events, product briefings and media tours, and represent clients and products at industry conferences and events
• Participate in new business pitches including research and brainstorming

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of agency and/or public relations experience
• Strong understanding of traditional and non-traditional PR strategies and tactics
• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with managers, peers, clients, the media, partners, and more
• Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, and driving projects across the finish line
• Experience working in a client service role and/or in demanding and dynamic situations
• Exceptional attention to detail, follow up, and organization skills
• Digital and social media savvy a plus
