As a Powder Coat I, you will play a crucial role in our production process by painting and using powder operations to prepare components for a variety of products. Your attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will contribute to the successful completion of our projects.

• Job Type: Fulltime\n\t
• Location: Portage, MI\n\t
• Shift: \n\t
• Pay Rate: 1st $17.50/hr, \n\t
• Shift: M-F, 1st 4:45 am to 1:15 PM, \n\t
• Payrate: $17.50/hr\n

\n Roles and Responsibilities: \n\n

\n\t
• Paint components and perform powder operations to prepare them for production\n\t
• Follow directions and adhere to quality and quantity standards to meet part specifications\n\t
• Read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English\n\t
• Carry out verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English\n\t
• Maintain good housekeeping and ergonomics practices to ensure safety\n\t
• Participate in workplace organization and follow training procedures, including cross training and teamwork\n\t
• Demonstrate stamina and attention to detail in repetitive tasks\n\t
• Speak up and report any safety or quality issues that may arise\n\t
• Learn new processes, systems, and equipment as required\n\t
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and contribute to conflict resolution\n\t
• Motivate yourself to grow, learn, and progress to the next level in skills through willingness and ability to cross train\n

\n Qualifications & Skills: \n\n

\n\t
• High school diploma or GED, preferred\n\t
• Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends\n\t
• Proficiency in reading and understanding written instructions and policies in English\n\t
• Strong verbal communication skills in English\n\t
• Ability to prioritize safety and follow safety related practices, including good housekeeping and ergonomics\n\t
• Ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment\n\t
• Basic knowledge of documentation, team concepts, and basic preventative maintenance\n\t
• Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and contribute to conflict resolution\n
