Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sandblasting, masking, and degreasing before powder coating.
• Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray guns and ensure even coverage.
• Operate and maintain ovens, spray booths, and powder coating equipment .
• Inspect finished parts for coating thickness, adhesion, and overall quality .
• Adjust application techniques to achieve desired texture, color, and finish .
• Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines when handling chemicals and coatings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area , ensuring proper storage of coatings and tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coating defects to optimize production.
• Work closely with fabricators and production teams to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Powder Coater or in an industrial painting role.
• Knowledge of powder coating techniques, curing processes, and finishing standards .
• Ability to use and maintain electrostatic spray guns, ovens, and masking tools .
• Familiarity with metal fabrication and surface preparation methods .
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment .
• Experience reading work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications .
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
