What this job involves
Oversees the daily operation of the site’s water and sewerage systems. Applicant will be performing both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on a variety of facility plumbing systems, and of varying conditions. This position requires experience in working on these types of systems and with the tools required to perform maintenance to same. The position may be called upon to perform or work alongside other general maintenance and support duties on an as-needed basis.
What is your day to day?
Oversees operation and performs repairs, installation, and preventative maintenance on piping and valves relating to facility plumbing systems
Inspects and ensures all drainage systems are free flowing and clear of blockages; responds to calls to rod out drains or to clear obstructions
Inspects and repairs as needed all restroom and associated fixtures – water closets, urinals, sinks, drinking fountains, etc.
Proficiency in smartphone and basic computer application software – CMMS (Corrigo a plus).
Position will be called upon to review logs to ensure proper operation of equipment; responsible for reporting any problems/malfunctions on an as need basis.
Work with the client to schedule equipment to be taken offline so that preventative maintenance can be performed with minimal impact to the end users. This position requires the ability to analyze the operation of the various systems, determine the cause of any problem / malfunctions and takes corrective action as required.
Prioritize all PM’s, corrective and emergent work orders for the site (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily).
Role may participate in an on-call rotation.
Must arrive onsite within 45 minutes for emergency service response.
Provide excellent customer service by utilizing professional and effective communication with timely follow through
Team player, self-starter, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.

Exposure to piping/plumbing systems
Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports. Leads by example. Manages competing priorities well. Ability to analyze and make decisions based on broad range of data.
Must have and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license in order to drive state and JLL vehicles.
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational degree program preferred
5+ years of trade experience in commercial facilities environments
